My kids are both readers! We read ALL day EVERY day! They love to read by themselves, sitting next to each other, in some one's lap, they just love to read! With that said, they do have different styles...
This is the little Ms. contemplating her book from the comfort of her rocking chair. 
And here is our little Man. He loves to pull every book off of his sister's bookshelf before sitting down on top of them, to enjoy his book.
